Anya's Ghost cover

Anya’s Ghost tells the story of Anya, an immigrant from Russia, and her struggle to find her place amongst the contrasting worlds of her traditional Russian family life and the American school that she goes to. Integral to the story is Anya’s discovery of Emily, a ghost whose bones she discovers when she inadvertently falls and becomes trapped in a well. The changing relationship between Anya and Emily provides the necessary backdrop to Anya’s struggle to find herself and just how she fits in with everyone around her.
