Young Readers

Horror and Halloween isn't something that the adults have a monopoly on. This tab is filled with books for all reading levels. From books that younger pre-k kids could appreciate all the way through junior high and some high school book as well.

The Dark Beneath the Ice

The Dark Beneath the Ice. This story is a Young Adult thrill ride about family, mental health and of course, a supernatural entity that is threatening to take control of the protagonists body. This book has been described as Black Swan meeting Paranormal Activity. If that sounds like something that would interest you, look no further than this thriller.

Goosebumps: Attack of the Jack-o'-Lanterns

Goosebumpes is the classic juvenile horror series. With countless books to choose from, you can probably find a Goosebumps book about anything. Werewolves, evil mutant heroes, invisible boys, and even aliens from outer space! Out of all of these books, however, I believe that the best one to read to get into the Halloween spirit would have to be Attack of the Jack-o'-Lanterns. This story is all about tricks and treats on Halloween night with the signature Goosebumps twist to finish it all off.
